When ordering cakes from Helsinki bakery you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
The images on the website are examples of our cakes. All our products are hand made and can be ordered in different sizes from those shown on the website, your cake may have variations from the website image.

Nuts, eggs, milk and dairy products, wheat, food color.
You agree to advise your guests or anyone else who may come into contact with our products of this possibility and indemnify us absolutely for any allergic reactions that may occur.
All cake orders are made through Helsinki bakery online store. Payment is needed to confirm your order and payment is done through Klarna payment system. The prices are payable for goods that you order as set out as in our website. All prices are inclusive of VAT. After ordering online, you will receive an email confirming receipt to the e-mail of your order within a few minutes of ordering. If you don’t receive a confirming e-mail within few hours please contact us immediately email@example.com
Making an order You have chosen cake delivery – from us or pick up by yourself (customer).
All deliveries are undertaken by Helsinki bakery or our couriers. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address on the day of your order. We deliver Tuesday to Friday between 10-15.
All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our shop. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the cake during transport, set-up or any time thereafter. You will be given instructions on how to carry, transport, and store your cake upon pick up. Keep in mind that cakes are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly – such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc. We only give refunds in accordance with the refund policies stated below.
Cake flavor and texture is subjective. Full refunds requested due to flavor or texture after the cake has been accepted and picked up will not be honored. You may qualify for a percentage of a store credit if the product is brought back and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined to not meet our standards. Cakes must be brought back to us within a timely manner, preferably with 24 hours of pick up – please email us promptly to let us know of the issue to firstname.lastname@example.org. Quality determination is solely at the discretion of Helsinki bakery. Please understand that we cannot issue refunds for cakes that have already been completely eaten. *Store credit percents are based on how quickly the cake is returned, how much has been consumed, and what we determine the quality to be. Store credits of any kind will not be issued to customers who do not contact us within 48 hours.
If you come to our store for pick up or if upon delivery the cake does not meet your expectations, we will give you a refund (minus 25% handling/cancellation fee). This refund will be given as a store credit (no cash/money refunds will be given) NOTE: If we give you a refund, you CANNOT keep the cake. You can only get the refund if you refuse to “accept” the cake. We will NOT negotiate a partial refund if you keep the cake. This is a “take it or leave it” policy. We are not responsible for any expense you may incur for replacing our cake.
Orders that are not picked up will NOT be refunded. Orders that require delivery and cannot be delivered due to customer’s wrong information or availability will be taken back to Helsinki bakery café and stored until further notice from customer.
Best before dates
All our cakes must be consumed 72h after pick up or delivery. Goods placed outside are liable to react to the temperature. In hot or humid weather there is the possibility of chocolate decorations melting or damage to Goods. All our products must be refrigerated.
If you need to change the date or details of your order or cancel it altogether please contact us as far in advance as possible via e-mail email@example.com. Orders placed via our website which are canceled 7 days or more before the delivery/collection date will receive a full refund (storage credit) on the order total; those canceled within 3-6 days of delivery/collection will be entitled to a 50% refund (storage credit); those canceled within 48 hours of the order date will not be entitled to a refund.
